Kantola Drift Camping offers camping accommodation in the motorhome parking area from Friday to Monday at Kantola Event Park, at the address Myllärinkatu 6. The motorhome parking area is open from Fri 10 July at 16:00 until Mon 13 July at 10:00. The area is designed for visitors who want to stay close to the event and move easily between Kantola and Ahvenisto. The distance from the motorhome parking area to the Ahvenisto race circuit is about 20 minutes by bike or by bus.

The motorhome parking area offers basic services such as portable toilets and mixed‑waste bins. Showers, a sauna, a recycling point and a restaurant are located at the Sotkanranta marina. Shower and sauna services are subject to a fee. Staff are present in the area around the clock.

Moving between the event area and the motorhome parking has been made easy. A bus line runs directly past Kantola Drift Camping to the Ahvenisto race circuit between 7:30 and 22:30 on both event days. The bus ticket is the same as in all Hämeenlinna public transport. The event area can also be reached conveniently by bike in about 20 minutes through the city centre.

Places are filled on a first‑come, first‑served basis, and individual spots cannot be reserved in advance. We recommend purchasing your camping spot and camping tickets beforehand to secure your place in the area. A camping ticket is personal and required from each guest in addition to the caravan pitch.

Welcome to Kantola Drift Camping! The motorhome park offers camping accommodation for Drift Masters visitors from Fri 10 July at 16:00 to Mon 13 July at 10:00 in Kantola Event Park. The event area is easy to reach by bike, as well as by the bus that runs directly past the motorhome park. Please note that to stay at Kantola Drift Camping, you need both a camping ticket and a caravan pitch. The camping ticket is personal, meaning each guest must have their own ticket.

  • Is there staff available to assist?
    Yes, staff is present in the motorhome park at all times.
  • Can other vehicles be parked in the motorhome park?
    The motorhome park is intended only for motorhomes and caravans staying overnight. It is not a general parking area, so passenger cars, motorcycles, or other vehicles cannot be parked there.
  • Can you stay overnight in a tent in the motorhome park?
    No. The motorhome park is intended only for motorhomes and caravans, and there are no tent pitches or tent accommodation available.
  • Can a caravan pitch be reserved in advance?
    We recommend purchasing your spot in advance. Spaces are filled in order of arrival, so a specific pitch cannot be reserved.
  • Where you can see if the area is sold out?
    The situation is updated on our website as well as on Ahvenisto’s social media channels.
  • Are there toilets, showers, a water point, electricity and waste management on the area?
    The area has a portable toilet and a mixed‑waste bin. At Sotkaranta harbour there is a water point, a recycling point, and shower and sauna services for a fee.
  • Are there any food vendors or kiosks in the area?
    Sotkaranta’s harbour restaurant serves campers.
  • Are there any quiet hours or rules of conduct?
    Quiet hours in the motorhome park are from 22:00 to 08:00.
  • Is grilling allowed in the area?
    The area does not allow the use of any type of grill or camping stove.
  • How far the motorhome park is from the event area?
    You can reach Kantola Event Park from the Ahvenisto racing circuit by driving about 7 km, which takes roughly 17 minutes. The route follows Poltinahontie toward the city centre, continues onto Vanajantie and then toward Kantola, ending on Puusepänkatu at the Kantola Event Park area.
    Arrival from the motorway (VT3 / E12) to Kantola is via an exit that leads toward the Hämeenlinna city centre. The route continues through the centre toward Kantola, with clear signage guiding you directly to the event park entrance.
  • Is there staff on site?
    There is motorhome park staff on site around the clock.
  • Can you charge phones in the area?
    Yes, you can charge your phone at the motorhome park reception and at the Sotkaranta marina restaurant.
  • Is there wifi?
    No.
